At the end of an inspection I was folding up a drop cloth when two baby ground hogs came running up to me.....I thought they were going to climb up a leg :) I took the photograph and watched them run away. I little while later the mom came back to the area and disappeared into the bushes where the little ones had also gone to hide. They were too cute

WHen I opened the crawlspace door I could smell something dead....Then I saw loose piles of soil. The damaged ducts were a concern and I wondered why they were damaged. I was relieved to find an animal carcass. THe ground hog destroyed the ducts.

The wood damage and mud shelter tunnels are from a wood destroying insect....... I'm not certified to call them by name....

The wood damage and mud shelter tunnels are from a wood destroying insect....... I'm not certified to call them by name. I "mite" not know what they were. I was able to shine a light through and stick my finger through the joist.
