Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there but especially our dad and stepdad! We couldn’t do this sport we love without the help of our stepdad! This weekend Ben raced in Kansas and made it to the final in the bike class before they had to call the race due to severe weather. Ellie was racing at BIR. Saturday she made it to round two where she unfortunately couldn’t even make it the line for the race because of bike issues. Sunday she made it down to 3 where she lost to a great racer Jim Paulson due to a red light. What a fun weekend we had!! It was not our weekend but we still had a great time hanging out with friends and family. Saturday Ellie went out first round. Sunday Ben came to the track for a day of racing and unfortunately both Ben and Ellie went out first round. We enjoyed time together at the track!

This past weekend Ben traveled up to Iowa for the BOGO race. He had a great time racing. He got drawn for the ghost race Thursday night and unfortunately lost first round. Both Friday and Saturday he lost 3rd round.

Overall Ellie had a good weekend at Grove Creek. Saturday Ellie made it to round 4 in super pro before they had to cancel the races due to timing system issues. On Sunday Ellie made it to round 3 then lost. She was just happy to go some rounds!
