Well after prepping the Miata and packing Thursday to race at Daytona's International Road course. After watching the weather decided to scrub the race. After watching the weather Friday I thought I should go, so I got up 3.30am and reloaded trailer and camper. Then I left at 6am. I got unloaded and prepped 5 minutes before my race. I won Saturday and Sundays race.

Well I managed to win the Savanah Majors Saturday, I'm pretty sure I won yesterdays race by default as there was a serious accident that stopped the rest of the races for the day.

I am getting close to finishing the 260z I have been working on for a while. we just put the vintage air in and transferred everything over to the new dash that Justin has been guarding in his bedroom for 15 years. pictures soon. This car has 6 piston front brakes, double ventilated rotors, 4 piston rear calipers ventilated rotors that have a good parking brake. 280zx block and pistons, 240 rods, N42 head. 5 speed transmission. Suspension is Apex chrome moly control arms, cross member, billet aluminum rear mounts for differential, and control arm mounts.

Well its time to go racing at Roebling Road Raceway for SCCA's Majors event. Fresh engine , transmission, corner weights within 50.6 %, alignment perfect, and some new Hoosier tires. July 1.2nd.

Don Ahrens raced last weekend at Miami Homestead raceway. I finished 3rd Saturday, and 2nd yesterday. Motorsports Reg. Should have some videos.
