Last Call to take the Town of Eagle Open Space Management Plans Survey. Please be sure to like 'maintaining the status quo' on Haymaker. We've already closed 99% of our trails including the 3rd and 4th loops of Haymaker. Keeping loops 1 & 2 open is a reasonable compromise that protects wintering wildlife while enabling humans to recreate for physical and mental health. Please join us at the Open House next week and help us keep the 1st 2 loops of Haymaker open in the winter!

Action Alert!

Do you care about having winter recreation access on Haymaker? Please come to the Town of Eagle Open House on October 18th from 4:30-6:30 at Brush Creek Pavillion. This management decision should reflect the community's desire to have winter recreation. We know it's important to you to be able to get outside and we've been advocating but unless you show up, you loose the ability to weigh in. The Town of Eagle is considering the following:

• Keeping the management status quo - 1st and 2nd loop are open December 15-April 1st
• Putting in a full seasonal closure on the 1st and 2nd loop December 15-April 15 to protect wintering wildlife - we loose access to BLM that is open in the winter
• Keeping the 1st loop open, retaining access to the BLM, and closing the 2nd loop to protect wintering wildlife

As the community grows over the next 10 years, we believe it's important to have designated winter recreation areas for people to get outside. If you agree, please let the town know either in person or by scanning the QR code on the flyer. Thanks!
