GRAND OPENING PHOTOS!
What a day. The mats were full, the energy was unreal, and Eagle River showed up BIG for us.
These photos capture exactly what we hoped Raíz would become from day one, hard work, good people, nervous first timers, experienced grapplers, kids having fun, parents supporting from the wall, and a room full of people pushing each other to get better.
Thank you to every single person that came through the doors, shared a post, bought a founders membership, helped build the academy, rolled with us, cleaned with us, or simply believed in what we’re building here.
This is just the beginning.
We have a LOT more photos coming over time, because apparently every 3 seconds somebody was taking another picture while we were trying not to die finishing construction.

The doors opened… and y’all showed up.

Seriously, the turnout for our Grand Opening was incredible.

Seeing the mats full after everything it took to get here was a pretty unreal feeling.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, shared our posts, told a friend, signed up, or just believed in what we’re building from the beginning.

This is only day one. 🌱

It’s time! Grand opening at 6PM! Full class schedule also happening today. We had an amazing 10AM class with some of our best friends and we can’t wait to see more of you!

Now this is mat space.

Our custom IBJJF-spec, pebbled 2” mats are officially in, settled, and installed. Built to reduce mat burn, absorb impact, and handle real training the way it’s meant to be.

Now it’s time to break them in.
A few test rolls.
And a few finishing touches. 😉

Grand Opening — Monday, May 11th at 6PM.
