And here we go again! Best of skills Brandon 👊
Brandon Apfel (5-2, Sixel’s Gym) vs Scottie Stockman (2-1, Roufusport)
This is a featherweight fight ladies and gentlemen! The long awaited, Wisconsin debut of Scottie Stockman and the return of the surging Brandon Apfel! Both of these fighters have bright futures and we’re being treated to a high level fight right here in our own backyard!
Brandon Apfel has been on the regional scene in Wisconsin dating back to 2016. Apfel has faced some stiff competition in his career, including, PFL tournament finalist, Alex Gilpin. Apfel has a diverse striking game and a very sneaky, fast, right hand. He mixes in feints well and can damage the lead leg of his opponent with nasty leg kicks. Apfel has also shown good cardio. His pace remained the same in his fights with Jimmy Zidek and Tye Kuckles. Look for Apfel to come out and pressure from the beginning.
Scottie Stockman is a name that most in Wisconsin won’t know but his name holds serious weight in the west coast. The Roufusport import is a strong grappler with excellent boxing. His only loss was in his debut in a fight he was winning before he got caught in an armbar. One to not make excuses, Stockman got back on the horse and hasn’t looked back! This will be the best version we’ve seen of him so far. Guaranteed!
What a fight! Both men have the ability to finish this fight. Both men have crazy cardio and the real winners here are the fans! We see Apfel coming out and getting in Stockman’s face early. From there he will look to utilize his boxing and back Stockman up. Stockman will not back up, however, and we expect both of these fighters to stand and bang it out! If the fight hits the ground Stockman probably has the advantage. Who will get their hand raised? In our opinion, it’s very close, and truly could go either way. In the end, we think Stockman shows the Wisconsin fans who he is and earns the victory!
