AK Solstice Football Camp

As the 2026 Alaska Solstice Football Camp has come and gone, our hearts are still full of gratitude.

What an incredible three days it was. We watched athletes compete, learn, grow, and build relationships that will last far beyond the football field. The memories made this week are ones we'll carry with us for years to come.

This camp has always been about more than football. It's about bringing Alaska's football community together, connecting young athletes with coaches and mentors who have walked the path before them, and giving the next generation every opportunity to succeed.

This year, together, we accomplished something truly special:

🏈 **292 athletes attended**
🏈 **30 schools were represented**, including private schools and one school from Ohio.
🏈 **53% of our participants were incoming 9th and 10th graders (155 athletes)**—a tremendous investment in the future of Alaska football.
🏈 **25 guest coaches** shared their knowledge and passion over three outstanding days.

With attendance **more than doubling any previous Alaska Solstice Football Camp**, we're incredibly excited about the direction this event is heading. This growth is a reflection of what can happen when our football community comes together with one common purpose: serving our young athletes.

One of the greatest strengths of the Alaska Solstice Football Camp is giving our athletes the opportunity to learn from Alaskans who have walked the path they dream of following.

Today we're proud to highlight Jackson Harmon Coach Jackson Harmon, who is leading our Cornerbacks throughout camp.

Jackson's journey is a perfect example of what is possible through hard work, discipline, and commitment. He starred at South Anchorage High School, where he helped lead the Wolverines to the 2019 Alaska State Championship. From there, he earned the opportunity to compete at Montana State University, where he was part of multiple teams that competed for National Championships.

Today, Jackson continues his football career as a cornerback at Colorado School of Mines, one of the nation's premier Division II football programs.
What makes Jackson's story so special is that he never forgot where he came from. He's back home investing his time, knowledge, and experience into the next generation of Alaska football players.

We couldn't be more proud of the man and athlete Jackson has become. Thank you for giving back to the Alaska football community and for helping raise the standard for our young defensive backs.
This is what the Alaska Solstice Football Camp is all about—Alaskans helping develop the next generation of Alaskan football talent.
