WE'RE HIRING!
Peak Cycling is seeking an experienced bike mechanic to work part-time (10-25 hours/week) with opportunity to move to full-time. Pay will be based on level of experience. $14-18/hr starting. With room for future growth.
Experience should include sales and customer service. Applicant should be comfortable with all routine maintenance and specialty work including, but not limited to, basic suspension service (seals and fluids), wheel repair/build, hydraulic brake/dropper systems, electronic shifting systems, internally geared hub service, suspension set up, basic bike sizing and the ability to think outside the box and use outside sources to obtain technical information.
In addition to technical knowhow, customer service is a top priority. Every person that comes through our door is treated with respect and given the best experience possible. We do take in bicycles (and yes sometimes walkers, strollers, and scooters) of all types ranging from Walmart specials to $10,000+ race machines. Each and every bike and customer will recieve the same great treatment.
Employees will be given access to bicycle discounts after an initial 3 months of employment with no disciplinary actions and access to parts and accessory discounts after 1 month.
