With the weather starting to cool down and kids are going back to school, many people are starting to shut down their cabins in the Northwoods. You winterize your cabin and boat why not your fishing reels. Getting your reels serviced and cleaned in the fall or early winter means they are clean and dry waiting for spring. Plus you have the benefit of being ahead of all the people who bring their reels in the spring hoping oto get them back in time for the season opener. Also if you attend any of the winter sport shows we are at you can save shipping by letting us know you would like to pick your reels up there.

Jim and I ended the Chain Pounders Muskie League last night in a big way. Jim got a giant Eagle River Chain 48” Muskie a rare fish on the ER Chain for sure. What a way to close out the league. Congratulations to Jim and all our fishermen and women!
