Unpopular Opinion:

Youth sports today often blur the lines between what’s considered hard work and what isn’t.

Too many coaches are focused on stacking teams instead of building programs. Too many parents are chasing teams with more rings instead of programs that value character, loyalty, and development. Too many players are bouncing from team to team chasing promised positions and playing time rather than earning them.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve lost sight of the value of hard work. We’ve forgotten that the most meaningful rewards are the ones you earn.

The goal shouldn’t just be developing great athletes. It should be developing hard-working, resilient young people who understand commitment, accountability, and perseverance.

Because at the end of the day, the lessons that matter most aren’t found in trophies or championships.

They’re found in learning that you don’t just wish for it, you work for it.

What an incredible weekend of baseball for our North Jackson 12U! These boys battled hard at the Beat the Heat Tournament in Brookings, finishing the weekend 4-0 to bring home the GOLD! 🏆⚾️

Last night we had the honor of awarding the North Jackson Youth Baseball Scholarship to two outstanding senior athletes. Congrats Carson & Braden on your hard work, dedication, and commitment both on and off the field. Thank you for giving back to our youth programs and being great role models for the next generation. We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings! 🎓⚾️

We're excited to announce a fresh direction for our incoming 6th grade football team with veteran coach Manny Valdovinos leading the way.

Coach Manny brings years of experience coaching football, wrestling, and track at the youth, middle school, and high school levels. More importantly, he is known throughout our community for building strong relationships with athletes and families while creating a positive environment focused on growth, discipline, teamwork, and confidence.

If your athlete is entering 6th grade this fall and has been considering football, this is a great opportunity to be part of something special.

North Jackson wrapped up the Memorial Day Tournament in Medford yesterday with a Silver Bracket Championship win for our 12U boys! After a tough start to the weekend with two losses against strong competition, these boys battled back winning 3 straight games to bring home the Silver Bracket Championship.

Our 10U boys also faced some incredibly tough competition and showed up ready to compete, reminding every team they faced that North Jackson brings a fight that never quits.

We are beyond proud of the way these boys continue to show up for one another and represent the North Jackson standard both on and off the field.

Keep BEING the standard boys.
Keep setting the bar HIGH for how this game is meant to be played.
