Every month, Eagle Pass Fitness will shine the spotlight on a member who embodies our values, motivating others in the gym. Although everyone deserves recognition, we’ll honor one outstanding individual monthly.
January’s Athlete of the Month is Henry! A 6AM class regular, who you will occasionally see in the 5PM, 6PM, and 7PM classes all in one day! 😂 His unwavering dedication to fitness is an inspiration. Henry has been with EPF for a year and it’s been an absolute pleasure having him on board. We’re thrilled to see Henry continue to crush his fitness goals at EPF. 1.) How long have you been working out at Eagle Pass Fitness and what motivated you to join?
I have one year in Eagle Pass fitness and what motivated me to join in was by watching videos of CrossFit.
2.) What were your thoughts after your first workout at EPF? Do you remember what it was?
My thoughts of my first workout at Eagle Pass fitness were, what did I get into this morning? Lol .
3.) What’s your favorite part of EPF?
My favorite part of Eagle Pass fitness is the motivation, the happiness, the feeling of a team..
4.) Current training goals/PRs?
My goals on PR’s to lift more.
5.) What advice do you have for someone just starting out?
My best advice for someone starting out is just to relax and breathe and not to go right away in heavy lifting.
6.) Tell us about a moment you felt most proud of yourself during a workout.
A proud moment during my workout was to be able to do handstand push-ups.
7.) If you could create a WOD and name it yourself, what would it be?
I think the name would be Spartans.
8.) What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of the gym?
Love to watch YouTube / love to go for a swim in the summer.

If I can do it, you can do it. We all can do it. We just gotta put our mind into it.
