What a week and what an experience!
The World Series may not have ended the way we hoped, but these girls left everything they had on the field, played for the name across their jerseys, and for each other.

To our girls… thank you for your heart, your passion, and for showing what it truly means to be teammates. Watching you encourage one another, laugh together, pray together, and fight for one another was the greatest victory of all.

A special thank you to Josie for stepping in and embracing this journey with us. You and your family fit right in with our Prodigy family, and we’re so grateful you were part of this experience.

To our families… thank you for every mile traveled, every early morning, every late night, every sacrifice, and every cheer from the stands. Your support made this experience possible, and these girls will carry these memories with them forever.

And to our BEST fans… the brothers and sisters who cheered louder than anyone else, celebrated every big moment, proudly wore Prodigy colors right alongside the team, thank you. Not only did you hype up our girls when they were down, but also the crowd!

And to our community, sponsors, and everyone who supported us from home… thank you for believing in these girls. We felt your support every step of the way.

This week gave us more than games. It gave us memories, stronger friendships, and moments we’ll hold onto long after the final out.

Our countdown is officially OVER!!
Today, our Prodigy girls begin their journey to the Pony League World Series!
29 days ago, we started introducing you to eleven incredible girls. One by one, you met their personalities, their strengths, and the little things that make each of them so special.
The voices that keep the defense talking.
The hearts behind the pregame prayers.
The girls who create chaos on the bases.
The ones who don’t let anything fly past them.
The tiny ones with a giant heart.
The ones who bring the power.
The dependable gloves.
The pitchers who bring the heat.
The catcher who’s never afraid of the hard work.
The teammates who lift each other up every single day.
Different personalities, different strengths, one team.
Three years ago, these original Prodigy girls started chasing a dream together. Today, they begin the World Series journey as the group that started it all.
No matter what happens this week, you’ve already made Eagle Pass proud. From your families, your coaches, your sponsors, and your entire community: Best of luck, girls.

As we prepare to represent Eagle Pass at the Pony League World Series, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to every business, organization, and individual who believed in our girls and chose to support this journey.
From local businesses to well known companies, every donation, sponsorship, and act of kindness has reminded our team just how fortunate we are to come from a community that stands behind its youth. Because of your generosity, our girls will proudly represent not only Prodigy Softball, but the entire City of Eagle Pass.

While Josie may not officially be on our roster, she’s stepping in to help our team at the World Series, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her with us. It takes a special kind of girl to jump in, embrace a new team, and be willing to do whatever is needed.

If you’ve ever watched our 3rd baseman, you’ve definitely heard her!
