Results of our team auditions CVHS Ballroom Dance Company 2024-25

Thank you to everyone who auditioned this year! We had an amazing turnout and so much talent! The results were scored by third-party judges who are experienced in ballroom dance and not affiliated with our program. Placement on teams is based on your performance in that audition.

If you do not see your name on a team roster, you have been placed on our waitlist. If a space becomes available, we will contact those individuals in the order their audition results placed them.

Members of our teams should have received email communication. If you are on our team next year and have not received an email, please reach out. That means we do not have a valid email for you or your child.

Save the Dates - Ballroom Company Auditions 2024-25

7th-12th graders (for the year 2024-25) - All ability levels welcome 🙌🏻

Invite any interested friends and family members to the Mandatory Parent Meeting April 30th for valuable information regarding next year’s program. Come with questions and learn what changes you can expect on teams next year. If you are new to our audition process or have questions regarding the audition, our teams, etc. make sure you come!

May 13th, 14th, 15th

All company members must re-audition for their spot each year. Check out our website for more information including the forms you need to fill out prior to auditioning.

Provo High Dancesport Festival 2024

Wowza 🏆 🏆 🏆

What a weekend of dancing 👏 After competing in their individual events all day/night Friday, and then all morning Saturday, they somehow found the energy to keep it up, at the highest levels of youth formation ballroom dancing, far…far…far into the night.

The Varsity team competed against over 10 high school varsity programs - all of which presented competitive, stunning, creative pieces. Coming in as the reigning champions in two of those categories, there was a lot of expectation for our group. We debuted 2 new show dances, one of which was a new event category for us.

We have a “No-Drama” rule on this team. Which means whatever drama might be happening in life, between your friends, your teammates, it doesn’t exist while we practice. We respect each other. We respect our coaches and the time we have all sacrificed to becoming a team.

And… after dancing 4 amazing Show dance routines, we ask them to do the 2 hardest, most athletic events against some of the best studio teams in the state. And they absolutely pulled it off 🌟✨🌟 placing top amongst their high school peers in the medley category and even placing higher than a few of those studios 🤩

Provo High Dancesport Festival 2024

Our JV team was amazing! They had to be so flexible this week as we re-choreographed all their numbers and spacing. Not to mention our newest member who started on Monday 😅🫶🏻 or our varsity team member who was an absolute champion stepping in to help on the medleys.

Did we also mention - Festival Swing Showdance Champions?! The best JV team if we do say so ourselves (but seriously, consistently placing better against every JV program)

Again, the medley category is the most competitive and requires the highest technical ability - and is mixed with some of the top studios. These guys presented an amazing show and should be extremely proud of what they put on the floor.

We are so proud of our Junior Ballroom Team who competed this weekend in Provo against some really fantastic programs!

Our amazing kids (some of whom have never danced ballroom before) did a spectacular job in every event 👏

And parents - Thanks for sticking around and cheering us on to the very last number 🫶🏻

Join us on the inaugural Dancing with the Mini Stars program for young dancers.

Join members of our Varsity team and perform at our Dancing with the Stars concert in January. Can’t wait to see all our mini friends.

Registration includes Mini Star t-shirt.

All proceeds go back to the ballroom program to help pay for competitions, costumes, choreography, and our spring tour.
