Reminder to members, tonight we will be having our annual meeting at 7pm in the clubhouse for those wanting to attend. All board members still have time left in their terms so there won’t be any nominations or voting tonight, but come hear from the board as we recap the last year and talk about next year.

Heads up golfers, this Thursday the Eagle Grove Golf Course will be hosting a cross country state qualifying meet at 4pm. The grounds crew will be removing markers, flags, etc early in the day in preparation. Come out and support the boys and girls as they run for a chance at state.

The weather forecast all week looks great, so make sure you adjust your plans to come another day and play one of potentially your last rounds of the year.

Also members should have received an email earlier this month, but next Tuesday we will have our Annual Members meeting at 7pm in the clubhouse. Come out and hear from the Board as we recap the year and look ahead to next year.

Paul asked that we share a reminder as the temperature has dropped, everyone must stay off the course until we reach 40°F.

Morning temperatures are predicted to be below 40°F Saturday, October 17th. Please delay your round until temperatures reach 40°F each day.

While the course will remain closed today, we do have good news and that we will open back up Saturday 10/3 at noon. Paul is happy with how the course is recovering so far but it needs another 24 hours.

Pops Clubhouse will continue to operate according to their normal business hours.

Due to another 1.5+ inches of rain last night the course is closed until further notice. It’s looking like we will be closed until the weekend with a Saturday morning decision about whether to open in the afternoon. Thank you for understanding!

The golf course is closed today after 2 inches of rain yesterday and overnight. We will also be closed tomorrow as we host the Over 50s tour.

Don’t let that stop you from coming out to the clubhouse and enjoying football games today.

With all the overnight rain we are opting to close the course for the day. There is some standing water in places.

Looking forward to tomorrow we will also be closed most of the day for a private outing. When that outing wraps up we will make another post to let everyone know the course is open again.

Sunday September 13th we are bringing back our One Man Scramble tournament.

Have you ever been playing and mish*t a shot so you throw out another one and hit the shot of your life? Now you get to do that every shot, play 2 balls from each spot for 18 holes. Sign-up sheet is in the clubhouse, otherwise feel free to call the clubhouse to register.

We know it’s raining now but it looks like it will clear up soon so we will still have today’s tournament. The start time might be a little delayed as Paul and Darron need some time to set everything up but come out after 9 and get checked in.

Members, today is the day, you can bring one guest of your choosing and we will waive green fees up to 18 holes. All we ask is that you come into the clubhouse and check-in.

Stag will start around 5:45.
