Well this is interesting. Weโ€™ve always been told that too much screen time is bad, causes mental health disorders and can lead to obesity. Turns out that screen time has doesnโ€™t play as a sognifanct role as other factors.

Screen time may not be as harmful as previously suspected for school-aged children and may have some important benefits, according to one of the largest studies to date exlporing how screens impact youth.

It's 8 pm. After eating a well balanced dinner, you suddenly get the urge for something sweet. You're not hungry but the Halo Top ice cream in the freezer is calling your name. You've been tracking your food all day and have hit your macro goals. Taking down that ice cream will definitely put you over your targets.

What do you do?

We've all been there!

Here is a three-step strategy that's you can use next time these cravings pop up.

Notice & Accept - Hunger and cravings can be intense. Instead of wrestling with these feelings, acknowledge them. It's natural and okay to feel this way.

Take Control - Your emotions don't have to dictate your actions. Remind yourself that you have the power to choose how to respond, even when cravings hit hard.

Remember Your 'Why' - Whether it's for health, energy, or simply feeling great, remember why you started. Your goals are important, and you have what it takes to achieve them!

I got a very nice testimonial this week Check it out

When I was first approached about doing the 28 challenge, I was hesitant. Two things were giving me pause. First, I already work out so will this really do anything for me. Second, the idea of changing how I eat seems like a lot of work that probably wonโ€™t produce results.

Well, I was mostly wrong. It was a lot of work both time wise and emotionally, to sit down and really look at how/what I eat and the changes I need to make to hit the goals set out. But it was definitely worth it and it very much produced results. Kyleโ€™s app and weekly calls and accountability moments really were the reasons I was able to make some needed changes.

The challenge ended and I lost 5 pounds and feel a lot better about myself and my habits. I am learning how to make smarter choices about my food and because of my results, Iโ€™m working at maintaining the food choice changes. Itโ€™s a lot of work but with Kyleโ€™s help, it is definitely worth it!!

For those of you that need to hear it, there is no magic pill or shake for long term weight loss.

Medication may work in the short term but until you learn to put down the pizza, move your body, get good sleep, prioritze protein and understand energy balance, you will not get the results you want.
