Hello my fellow pickleball players:

I’ve heard a lot of concerns (and even some frustrations!) about DUPR — trust me, you’re not alone. My own DUPR dropped recently. gasp!

I created this simplified DUPR 101 graphic to help make the system easier to understand. DUPR looks at more than just wins, and the more DUPR-rated matches you play, the more accurate your rating becomes. In your DUPR app, the small green circle shows your reliability score — the higher the number, the better it reflects your true pickleball skill level.

See below for the schedule of play this weekend. We will be working hard to run ON TIME, but if games run long, there may be minor adjustments.

REMINDERS:
-BE SURE to download theSWISH APP as we will be keeping score and displaying results in SWISH. One person from each team should have access to SWISH. The APP is available in both Apple and Android formats.
-BE SURE TO CHECK IN 30 minutes before your start time! We will be conducting player instructions 10 minutes before start time and need all players present.
-DUPR ratings- There are still a few players whose rating number we don't have. If you received an email asking for your DUPR number, PLEASE RESPOND as soon as possible.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
Saturday:
Men's 3.0 & Men's 3.5: CHECK IN 7:30am, 8:30am START
Men's 4.0+ & Women's 4.0+: CHECK IN at 10:30am, 11:30am START
Women's 3.0 & Women's 3.5: CHECK IN at 12:30pm, 1:30pm START
Sunday:
Mixed 3.5: CHECK IN 7:30am, 8:30am START
Mixed 4.0+: CHECK IN at 10:30am, 11:30am START
Mixed 3.0: CHECK IN at 12:30pm, 1:30pm START

PLAYER LIST:

FORMAT:
The format for the tournament is ROUD ROBIN with Championship rounds for groups with more than 1 pool. Please click HERE for more information about the format and tie-breakers. PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS will be given before each round begins.

CHECK IN:
PLEASE check in at least 30 min. prior to your play start time. You will scan the SWISH CODE when you register to claim your spot in the Round Robin.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
-There is a water filling station, and bananas and granola bars will be available.
-Gatorades & other Energy drinks are available to purchase
-There are many food options within walking distance including Jimmy Johns, Subway, Sonic, Qdoba, McAlisters, Etc.
