Rumor has it that this movie is based on real facts from his character, Frank Dux. The Kumite was an underground tournament that was invitation only to best fighters around the world. We can all agree whether it was real or not, it lead to an amazing movie!

What is the greatest World Series moment? Now that the World Series is upon us, we often reflect on what great World Series moments have occurred in baseball’s history? We all can think of countless moments and depending on what team you’re a fan of, you can think of many for that team. There’s one moment that still remains at the top and that is the infamous “Called Shot” by Babe Ruth in the 1932 World Series where he pointed to center field predicting that he would hit a home run there to win the game, and sure enough he did just that. Where were you when Mike Piazza hit this famous post 9/11 home run? I remember watching this game at home and started crying because being a Mets fan and from NJ/NY, this game brought a huge sense of pride. The attacks of 9/11 happened right in our backyard and we felt lost and needed something to cheer about and when Piazza crushed that home run, an emotion erupted among baseball fans and New Yorkers and brought everyone together and provided hope for a lot of people! If any of you fans out there could ask or any member of the Mets team any question about that game, what would it be? We at SportChant are very curious to see what the fans would like to know? RUDY! RUDY! RUDY! One of the best endings in sports movies has definitely got to be RUDY! This scene gets me choked up every time I watch it. The story of Rudy is truly an American success story about a guy who never ever quit and ended up playing football for one of the best programs in the country, Notre Dame. Who has performed the best Haka you’ve ever seen?
The ritual of the Haka from the Maori warriors of New Zealand have been a tradition for the practically it’s entire existence. The passion between each ritual unites the team and draws such a warrior-like energy before each test begins to@prep them for “battle”. So many teams in other sports other than rugby have adapted this ritual whether used for intimidation or as a sign of respect, but there’s no doubt behind the power of this incredible warrior ritual.
