I spent 4 hours today making and screwing up the same tiny little fitting for a sword. I think I learned something, I guess tomorrow will tell.

This is a rework of a piece from a couple of years ago. I took the original Pitbull to a show and while cleaning it to lay on the table, I found what I thought was a scratch in the handle. It turns out that the handle ( a really nice piece of Lignum Vitae) had split down the length. I've never had a handle do that. So I moped around and finally split the old handle off (which was not easy, the epoxy I use is really strong) and replaced it with this. So, Pitbull Redux.

Sharp Harpoon clip
10" blade lenght
Forged mild steel knuckle guard with copper
bloodwood, copper and brass spacer
Crown stag handle with pommel carving.

No sheath
