🌊💜💛 Thursday night brought BIG waves, fast times, loud cheers, countless fist bumps, and plenty of smiles at the Caledonia Community Center Competition Pool as the inaugural Caledonia Youth Swim Program wrapped up its first season with an exciting Intersquad Swim Meet! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🎉

Over the past several weeks, these young swimmers have worked hard learning competitive swimming fundamentals, building confidence in the water, making new friends, and discovering just how much fun the sport of swimming can be. Watching them put everything they learned into action was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible first season!

👏 Congratulations to every swimmer on your hard work, determination, and enthusiasm. You should all be incredibly proud of what you accomplished!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to our families for their support and to our amazing coaches for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion for the sport. We also want to recognize the Caledonia Resource Center and the Caledonia Schools Athletic Department for making this opportunity possible. This program wouldn't have happened without all of you, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped make this inaugural season such a success!

But we're not done yet! This coming week we'll wrap up the program with a focus on water safety, plenty of fun and games, and yes... there's a very good chance that Sharks and Minnows will once again be spotted in the competition pool. 🦈😄 IYKYK

And let's be honest... would it even be a summer swim program without popsicles? 🍦😎 🍧

🌊💜💛 This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to welcome even more future Fighting Scots to the pool next summer. The future is bright, and we're just getting started! 🌊💜💛
