Most amateur golfers think that par 5's are the "scoring" holes. While that is true for pro's and low single-digit handicaps, for most amateurs it isn't. The scoring gap between scratch golfers and higher handicaps is largest on par 5s. Golfer at Old Erie average 1.4 shots over par on par 3's, 1.8 shots over par on par 4's, and 1.5 shots over par on par 5's.

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day for golf. The good lord has blessed us else with a little dose of rain and giving us views that belong on Golf Channel.
