It's been a while! Me thinks it's time to engage with like minded souls to revive and move toward thriving in this environment. Have you been hiding out like me? Well, not hiding out but trying to figure out when and where I enter in this mentally consuming, physically restricting environment. That's kinda where I've been. Early on I was recuperating from yet another medical event that axed my Mardi Gras 2020 plans and a good thing in retrospect! The Big Easy was a Big Spreader of Coronovirus and, but for ending up in the hospital two days before boarding my plane, I would have been up in there, "Hey! Ho! Party over here"! While hunkering down and getting strength back the virus became incomprehensibly serious.
Amazingly tho, I heard from friends and family, and saw on social media how folk were coping during the shut down by reorganizing their lives, crafting, gardening, redecorating, remodeling. seeking new ventures etc. I waited for the bug to hit me. It never did Once I knew that we were in for a long ride, and that I can only do mundane things for so long I knew I had to reengage in some way. We are intrinsically givers, and motivators and innovators and lifters and encouragers, and entrepurneurs and leaders of people. We move things forward. We move life forward. It is time. What we gonna do.

I'm thinking first things first. Let's get healthy! Let's help our community get and stay healthy! We can have some fun too!
Don't you hate always being a statistic? Obese, underlying health conditions? Dying from preventable and/or manageable illnesses? I welcome comment & discussion. Then we figure out how to move to action.

My 8 year old grandson is my charge this summer! We go to the movies, swim and play at the Y, spend afternoons at the library, the museum and playground! Plus drop off and pick up during camp weeks!
