It’s really hard to describe the waves of pure joy on a Zumba Cruise, but I’ll try: thumping music from every room on the ship; 40+ classes per day to choose from; costumes every evening; delicious food with a backdrop of sunsets and sunrises; hearing languages from all over the world; dancing dancing dancing everywhere… from 7 am to the wee hours of the morning.

I’m back to teaching today, still a little tired and sea-wobbly but filled with gratitude for my Zumba family here in Durango. Teaching you is my calling. I hope to bring back more passion and more music to give you a taste of the cruise. See you tonight at 5:30 p.m.! 😘❤️

Come on our Zumba Cruise trip through photos! We flew into Fort Lauderdale and spent a couple of days at an adorable, historic beach bungalow. We walked to the beach, took a yacht cruise, did a food tour, got massages, and took a lot of silly photos.

Del Ray is an upscale beach community with colorful homes and a bustling nightlife in the city center. We walked into a historic hotel and admired the genteel tropical vibe.

💝 The winner of the 2026 Zumba Community Valentine is…La Plata County Humane Society!

Each student picked their favorite local nonprofit, then we put names in a bowl and picked a winner. Four students chose LPCHS! 🐶🐱 I will drop off a check for $200 next week.

LPCHS has a special place in my heart because we got our late dog Bell and our current two kitties there two springs ago. Max and Minnie bring us so much joy. If you can adopt, volunteer, or donate, please do!
