ISR of Dunwoody ISR of Dunwoody: Aquatic Survival Instruction We provides Aquatic Survival Instruction for children ages 6 months to 6 years.

ISR Swim-Float-Swim (Average of 6 Weeks)
For children at least 12 months old and walking well: The entire swim-float-swim sequence: child swims with eyes open and head down; rolls back to float, rest and breathe; and flips over to swim again, repeating the cycle until reaching the stairs, ladder, side or rescued by an adult. ISR Survival Float (Average of 4-6 Weeks)
For babies under 12 months or +

12 months but not yet walking well: Child learns to roll back to float, rest and breathe, maintaining the float until rescued. Transition to ISR Swim-Float-Swim (Average of 6 Weeks)
For children who first learned to float (from Mike or another instructor) and are now ready to incorporate the swimming portion: Child learns to swim with head down and eyes open, roll back to float rest and breathe; and flip back over to swim again, repeating the cycle until reaching the stairs, ladder, side or rescued by an adult. Refresher (Average of 2-3 Weeks)
Refresher lessons are recommended every year for previous Swim-Float-Swim students to sharpen and maintain their ISR skills and adjust to their ever growing and changing body

Beginning Stroke
Stroke lessons are for children who have mastered the ISR Swim-Float-Swim Technique and are transitioning to Free-Style and Backstroke. This is more for the child who is ready to start Pre-Swim Team.

💥WOW💥2024 is a record year already!
Session 2 filled up in 5 minutes😲and Session 1 was filled up within 30 minutes! It's been fast in the past but nothing like this. I wanted to thank everyone for their flexibility as I went in order of submission and put everyone on the schedule as close as I could to the requested time. Please make sure to register with the National ISR to reserve the spot (you have a week then it will open to another family-Session 3 & 4 need to only pay first week lesson to reserve for now)
