Today we are announcing the Art Without Borders Camp Instructors:
Arts Without Borders Spotlight:
For Arts Without Borders, our camp celebrating diverse art forms and techniques, elementary campers will spend the week with Ms. Cari Mitchell and Mrs. ShaktiRupa (Rupa) Dutta Sahu, two visual arts teachers who make creativity feel personal, patient, and fun.
Ms. Cari brings more than 20 years of experience in fiber arts and a true historian's curiosity. She loves helping kids turn simple fluff into something amazing while uncovering the stories behind each material and technique, and her encouraging, clear communication makes beginners feel confident from day one. Mrs. Rupa brings a global studio perspective from India, where she ran her own art classes before relocating to Atlanta with her family. She describes herself as creative, patient, and inspiring, and her favorite part of teaching is watching young artists find their voice and surprise themselves with what they can express.
Together they blend hands-on fiber work with cultural exploration, so your child will experiment with new tools, learn art traditions from around the world, and come home with projects and pride to share. It's a welcoming space where process matters more than perfection, exactly right for elementary makers.
