Last tournament to cap off a great year with this group. Runners up in silver bracket. These young women were fantastic teammates, grew as players, and helped me have a lot of fun. Couldn’t have happened without a lot of help and support - in particular thank you Coach Shelby Johnson for all your work with our team!

The graciousness of the college softball players at the WCWS was remarkable. We were lucky to stay in the same hotel as Duke and our girls loved every chance interaction. Duke’s pitcher, #14 Jala Wright made several of them feel special- here she is with Solmia, Sofia, Kyra and Sophia.

On Route 66 in Weatherford Oklahoma is a great restaurant with an unassuming exterior that appears to have been named after Flames catcher, #99 Lucille “Lucy” Holder.

Congrats Flames outfielder, #15, Solmia Humphries on her go-ahead 3 RBI bomb at the Road to the Show in Oklahoma City. Seeing the great college play in the WCWS might have given her some inspiration!

Want free pizza? Love softball? What if you could support a softball team while getting a great deal on Dominos? Consider buying a "Slice the Price" card. Cards cost $20. The team gets 50%. The cards allow unlimited buy-one get-one large pizza's from Dominos until June 30 2024. You can get as many pizza's as you want (so for instance, you can get 10 pizzas for the price of 5) though for orders of 20 or more they need 24 hours notice. This card very quickly pays for itself! We will use the money for paid instructors and to help pay for our trip to OKC for the Women's College World Series in June!
