Happy National Wildlife Day from Rainbow Springs 💙

Today felt like the perfect excuse to share what we get to see out here every single day. An egret striking a pose, a turtle gliding through the grass, and a heron tucked into the treeline just watching it all happen.

This river has so much going on if you know where to look.

A few things to know before you go. Head Spring swimming needs a reservation, so lock that in before you drive out. Tubing is walk up, no reservation needed, tubes are right there on site. Bring water shoes, and only bring what you'd want to carry the whole time on the tube.

Not something most people expect to find in this state, but the waterfall trail is one of the most peaceful walks on the property. No swimming here, just a quiet spot to stand and take it in.

Walk it at your own pace, admission includes trail access.

A turtle glided right past our kayaks like it had somewhere important to be. Honestly, the best part of the tour is moments like this, you're not just paddling through water, you're gliding through somebody else's home. 🐢💚

This trail knows how to keep its cool. Shaded canopy, winding path, and just enough green to make you forget what time it is. Sometimes the best part of the day is the walk before you even get to the water. 🌿

Shallow water near the swim platform, a trail short enough for little legs, and enough wildlife sightings to keep them looking instead of scrolling. This is the kind of tired that happens from an actual good day.
