Dear Supporters of the Friends of the Bucks,
It’s time for me to say farewell.
With a heavy heart, I made the decision to step away from the Friends of the Bucks. I will no longer publicly participate in any aspect of the organization. My behind-the-scenes contributions will also come to an end.
This page will eventually be deactivated since it is attached to my private account. I will leave it up for several days in case anyone would like to retrieve past pictures or information. No new content will be added during this time.
To all the athletes I have had the privilege of knowing and engaging with through the years, thank you. In your own special way, each of you has helped create memories that I will cherish forever. I have watched you grow, work hard, overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and sometimes face disappointments. Those moments have meant more to me than you may ever realize.
Supporting the team and being part of the Friends of the Bucks had never been about recognition or receiving anything in return. It had always been about the athletes—the opportunity to help make their experience a little better and to know that, in some small way, my family and I were there for the players for almost 55 years through our participation in the organization.
I hope that my family’s and my contributions to the Friends of the Bucks had made a positive difference in the lives of the student-athletes. If we were able to help even one person feel supported, encouraged, or valued, then all of the time, effort, and sacrifices were worth it.
Dunmore Football has given me far more memories than one could ever know, and for that, I will always be grateful. Please know that I will continue to be proud of each and every team member, and I will carry the memories of the years spent with Dunmore Football in my heart and soul forever.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of the Dunmore Football journey. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
I will always bleed crimson and blue. Go Bucks!
