Good Afternoon!

It been awhile but we have some exciting news. Our 15U coaches for the CITBBL Academy team have a few months before our season starts and would really like to help kids grow and continue to develop their talents! If you have any interest in your kids working with coaches that have played at the college level, and coached at the college level and have a true passion for the game this is your opportunity. Beyond blessed and excited to announce the CITBBL Academy 15U team for the summer of 2026! Great group of kids that are putting in the work to do big things on and off the baseball field.

Registration for the 2026 CITBBL Season is now open. We will have A and B leagues at each age group (12U, 13U and 14U). We are currently looking for:

11 - 12U A teams
8 - 12U B teams
10 - 13U A Teams
7 - 13U B teams
10 - 14U A teams
6 - 14U B teams

Season will consist of 20 - 22 (home and away) game. Use your own field and umpires for home games. 3 game guarantee end of the year tournament (last weekend in June). Fastest growing league in central IL going into it’s 6th season. Cost is: $100 registration fee per team and $550 for mandatory end of the year tournament. Registration link is attached below. Today’s the day! 40 + registered over the 4 tryout dates, team is being built from the ground up. No tryout fee, paid coach, winter workouts with former D1 and current college players, 6 to 7 tournaments over 8 week season. This is the place to be in 2026. Looking forward to seeing you at tryouts this week.

Early Bird tryouts are 1 week away! If you haven’t signed up yet don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of something special. As an organization we strive to be the example of where faith and competitive baseball intersect.

What to expect:
-Paid Coach
-Winter workouts with active and former D1 players
-2 practices a week
-6/7 tournaments (2 overnights)
-Possibility of 4 to 5 weeknight double headers
-2 team building events serving and giving back to the community (Mandatory)

And just like that it’s over….

What a week we had for the 5th annual CITBBL Firecracker Classic. We blasted through 110 games over 7 days for the 56 teams in 3 age groups. I want to congratulate our tournament champions and runner up at each age group. These boys played a lot of baseball and fought hard to take home the hardware!

ATTENTION PARENTS: if your children are going down to the playground at MTCO please inform them to not throw the rubber pieces at each other or anyone else. I witnessed this yesterday and informed them to stop. Several parents and kids also told me they were being thrown at the littler kids. If I see this anymore the rest of the weekend I will ask the child to take me to their parent so I can explain the situation and they will not be allowed at the playground for the rest of the day. If they have been asked to stay off the playground and are caught back on the playground I will have your family pack your stuff and leave MTCO for the rest of the day. Kids safety is my main concern so please police your children.
