Lake Erie Lightning 10U Secure Win Against 2026 All American Steelheads 10U

Lake Erie Lightning 10U were victorious against 2026 All American Steelheads 10U 10-6 on Saturday at Walnut Creek Middle School.

2026 All American Steelheads 10U were the first to get on the board in the first when Luca M singled, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Lake Erie Lightning 10U went back into the lead after Joey L singled to left field, and 2026 All American Steelheads 10U committed an error, each scoring one run.

Sawyer E singled to right field, which helped 2026 All American Steelheads 10U tie the game at two in the top of the second.

In the bottom of the second inning, Lake Erie Lightning 10U went back into the lead after 2026 All American Steelheads 10U committed an error, Cullen W grounded out, and Zayne P walked, each scoring one run.

A single by Santino Y, a triple by Karson W, and a single by Re*****on A helped Lake Erie Lightning 10U extend their early lead in the third.

Karson stepped on the mound first for Lake Erie Lightning 10U. The starter gave up two hits and four runs (three earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking four. Stetson H started the game for 2026 All American Steelheads 10U. The pitcher gave up eight hits and nine runs (five earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking three. Michael M threw one inning of shutout ball for Lake Erie Lightning 10U in relief. The pitcher surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking one.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U piled up 12 hits in the game. Santino provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Lake Erie Lightning 10U with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Joey led Lake Erie Lightning 10U with three hits in three at bats. Karson and Braxton K each collected multiple hits for Lake Erie Lightning 10U. Lake Erie Lightning 10U turned one double play in the game.

Luca led 2026 All American Steelheads 10U with two hits in three at bats. Stetson led 2026 All American Steelheads 10U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game.

Next up for Lake Erie Lightning 10U is a game at Millcreek Summer Sizzler on Sunday.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U Come Back To Defeat Firestorm 10U

Lake Erie Lightning 10U trailed by as many as four, but came back to best Firestorm 10U on Friday at Field 3 , 16-7.

Firestorm 10U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Landon H singled down the right field line, and Lake Erie Lightning 10U committed an error, each scoring two runs.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Santino Y on the ninth pitch of the at-bat that drove in two.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Carter C walked, and Liam R singled, each scoring one run.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U scored seven runs on one hit in the bottom of the third inning. Brick B induced Karson W to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored one run, an error scored two runs, Braxton K was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and an error scored two runs.

Joey L led things off on the mound for Lake Erie Lightning 10U. The lefty gave up three hits and four runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. Brick stepped on the mound first for Firestorm 10U. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and 13 runs (six earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking eight. Santino tossed one inning of no-run ball for Lake Erie Lightning 10U in relief. The pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Karson led Lake Erie Lightning 10U with three runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Karson and Liam each collected two hits for Lake Erie Lightning 10U. Lake Erie Lightning 10U had patience at the plate, piling up 11 walks for the game. Carter, Zayne P, Michael M, and Joey led the team with two free passes each. Karson, Zayne, Re*****on A, Joey, and Liam each stole multiple bases for Lake Erie Lightning 10U. Lake Erie Lightning 10U stole 12 bases in the game. Lake Erie Lightning 10U turned one double play in the game.

Landon provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Firestorm 10U with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Weston R went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Firestorm 10U in hits.

Lake Erie Lightning 10U will travel to Millcreek Summer Sizzler for their next game on Saturday.

PSA from Bryant Watts (Director) its saddens me to announce we will not be having a 12u team for the following 2027 season. As many of you know this Lake Erie Lightning program i started back in the fall of 2022 manifested into a wonderful tight knit family oriented community. Main goal was to have affordable competitive travel baseball in our area & it all started with many of the players on this current 11u team. Im super grateful over these past few years for what this group in particular has given me. I love all my boys I coach and all of the wonderful family members I’ve come to know.

We plan for this upcoming 2027 season, (tryouts dates will be posted later tonight )to fill out an 8u, 9u, 10u roster also we plan to have 2 11u teams, a B/C league team that plays tournaments and premier league schedule and an A team playing independently in the queen city league and tournaments . With overwhelming support and interest we have intentions of filling out both 11u teams.

Our plan is to retain all current 10u players for 2027 as there is plenty of room with 2 rosters. Thank you for the support over the years & continued trust in our coaches with your kids.
