We have another blue belt added to the crew. Juaquin Flores was one of the best white belts I had seen in a few years. It was an honor for me to be able to promote him to blue belt. I also want to thank everyone at The Cave BJJ & MMA for training with him and getting him to where he is now. I also want to thank Jacob Hurlock GARRA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Academy for allowing us to be under them and James Clingerman with Indiana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. Juaquin is always training with us or cross training at Garra. Last but not least I'd like to thank Nick Leonhard with Hoosier Buckeye Wrestling and Jay County Patriot Wrestling for giving not just Juaquin but several of our guys an exceptional wrestling foundation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Today was a great day at the FUJI State Championship! For some it was their first BJJ competition and for others it was familiar territory. We took home some hard earned medals and two championship rings! Congratulations! Well done team!

Thursday nights are kickboxing and mma class and Jacob Hurlock owner of GARRA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Academy came all the way from Kokomo to teach the class. We had a BLAST! The team loves when we get together! We are so proud to be affiliated with such a powerful team. Thank you!
