One of the most important things we can do as dance educators is remember that we’re teaching kids first, dancers second. 🤍

Growth doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some dancers need a push. Some need patience. Some thrive on corrections, while others need confidence before they can truly begin to take risks.

We believe in challenging our dancers. We believe in strong technique, accountability, hard work, and big goals.

But we also believe the goal is bigger than the next trophy.

We want dancers who feel capable. Dancers who know they belong. Dancers who learn how to work through hard things.

And most importantly, dancers who still want to dance.

That will always be a win in our book. ✨

What a fun weekend at DDC! ✨

From Stretch & Strength with Miss Rose 💪 to Ballroom with Miss Kelly 💃, our dancers worked hard, tried new things, and had SO much fun doing it!

Before Dreamer’s Dance Company was even a thought, Miss Summer was one of Miss Rose’s at a charter school where she taught. She was in 4th grade. 💛

Dancers like her are part of the reason Miss Rose’s decided to open a studio in the first place.

Over the years, Miss Rose has had the privilege of watching her continue to train, grow, and become an incredible teacher herself. The kids adore her, and seeing her now pour into the next generation is one of those full-circle moments that’s hard to put into words.

We am so incredibly proud of the dancer, teacher, and person she has become. 🥹

It’s also why we believe so deeply in making dance accessible to kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

Because sometimes you’re not just teaching a child to dance. You’re helping shape who they’ll become. ✨
