Yes i did venture out and have a few whites in training again..But these were mainly for my Grandchildren to let go for me..

How long have i had pigeons since i was a little kid.My neighbor Paul Brewer would take me over the railroad tracks to the GLF. it was called then than be came Agway at Hamilton Place in Penn Yan . Paul was a teen then and could climb up get me baby pigeons he was a good friend as we grew up. Then i ran into a guy one day i had wild pigeon he said what ya doing with that street pigeon..I toled him i had a few wild birds ive kept.His name was Joe Just and he toled me come over his place ill give you some good birds just let the wild ones go. I agreed he gave me a pair of faintails and also some rollers i never heard about these birds ever. And he got me hooked i was at his house every nite to watch him fly his birds.. Then aster that ive had birds ever since.. A big help was a teacher i met in school John Lambrosa he also kept birds. He became my pigeon mentor taught me alot about pigeons. He take me with him weekends to go visit other pigeo pepole and get birds. And from there on i met and got to know many pigeon pepole. Bernie Linahan . Jimmy Lupino. Joe Benulis, Joe Just. We all had birds and to these men i owe alot too for the knowledge they gave me in the pigeon world...
