I cant believe it's been almost a year!! Getting back into it. Had a few bumps along the road this past year. But I've never not gotten back into the gym. I plan on getting this page active again.

Wow it's been a while. So I've had some changes going on in my home. For one I no longer have a TV in my living room. 😮
I totally didn't even think of how am I going to get my at home workouts in. I do have a small 19in tv and a DVD player so I'm thinking of going that route. But my going to be new start in eating is going to be trying my hand at the keto way of eating. I refuse to call it a diet because it's not. It's a change in the types of food I tend to eat. After lots of tracking I know I'm a carb freak and I need to break that habit. After having some discussions with knowledgable people on the subject I am setting a start date and have already began prepping for more knowledge. I will be posting how it's going and what I'm eating here. Have any questions along the way for me don't hesitate to ask.

It's been a struggle to keep up with meal planning and working out. Been working inconsistent hours and the kids lives have been none stop. Just when I think I can get back to a routine I get a slap with reality. How about you? What's your biggest struggles!

Today I was all pumped to get my workout in. I did total body cardio and sweat like a fool and then said hey lets do upper fix again. Let me just say I have sore arms, jelly legs and abs that are wicked sore. No pain to gain though right?

Holy soreness. I did cize 8 min abs and upper fix yesterday. This morning I am sore. I had a whole day planned which yes included my workout. Then I got a call and got asked to go into work. I said yes but I had somethings I had to get done before I head in. Was getting my workout in. I then made a protein shake and my food for the day. I had so much energy all day and even though I was suppose to be off and not at work I was happy. I felt accomplished. Today another disruption. Kids are on a two hour delay. But I will get my workout in!!

So how many of you made the resolution to exercise, eat better and lose weight? How many of you have already swayed back to you typical behaviors? I'm struggling I won't lie but I didn't set this journey up as a result ion but as a something I want in general. It's cold here and not much time to myself with work, practices and family life. What's holding you back?

Got a run in with my middle child. I struggled a bit. But I did it. And my daughter was encouraging. However, she did inform me that she completed that in half the time we did yesterday. Brat!!
