Today's 5:30-6:30 pm Boxing class sure got a heck of a workout today. Everyone that attended worked their tails off. Today the Boxers got some work sparring, hitting pads and doing cardio inside the MMA cage at Inner Strength Martial Arts in Duluth Minnesota.

Keep up the great work everyone. Big thanks to Coach Cody for putting in his time to help coach.

These last 34 days have been a complete nightmare, but in the long run is going to pay off for my students, my fighters, my affiliates, and the Twin Ports Community. I've been putting in 8-12 hour days almost daily with 2-4 hours of sleep a day.

Moving to Duluth Minnesota to a larger building for Inner Strength Martial Arts Academy has been demanding. I am blessed to have had some great people in my life help with the demanding move. I am not a handyman by any means so have had to lean on a lot of people.

The Academy in Duluth Minnesota is about 90 percent done. A list that had about 85 things on it are down to the final 6 items. The Academy should be 100 percent done within the next two weeks.

I am excited to have a larger space and offer many exciting things to my students that I couldn't before. This Academy I have dreamt of for quite some time and is now a reality.

17 years ago on October 1, 2009 I was just a young dumb 25 year old kid. Aaron Dandrea, Doug Buhr, and Dave Buhr helped me realize a dream that I never knew existed.

I graduated from University of Wisconsin Superior with a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies looking to be a probation officer in North Carolina. I ended up turning it down and staying in Superior Wisconsin to promote MMA events and open a Martial Arts School.

I shared so many important memories at that Academy in Superior Wisconsin. My daughter two days after being born was in that building on the mats. I won an MMA title training in that building. All 3 of my step kids grew up going to that building for over 12 years of my life. I received my 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degree Black Belt in American Karate training and teaching there. I received my Brown, Black, 1st and 2nd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in there.

Now June 1st starts a new era. A larger building all on one level, an MMA cage inside, big screen tvs, bag posts, and all the gear somebody needs for MMA or their fitness needs. The new building in Duluth Minnesota I am able to give my students everything I've wanted to give them but couldn't in Superior cause of limited space. Duluth Minnesota is opening up so many doors for so many people.

Superior Wisconsin will always be home to me and I will continue MMA events there till the day I die.

Inner Strength Martial Arts is recognized by the IBJJF and USBJJF as a legit Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy offering quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Now Inner Strength Martial Arts is recognized by the Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation (JJGF) under Master Rickson Gracie. Professor Robert went thru the certification phase to have Inner Strength Martial Arts recognized as a quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Jacob Vail did an awesome job of coaching. I'm so proud to see how far he has come

Great seeing David getting rounds in after killing himself the last two days putting about 15 hours into the new place

Noah and Amos looked sharp tonight training hard on the mats.

James got a great workout in and improves every time he is on the mats

Great job to everyone. I was proud to see the mats full and so many smiling faces.
