The St Louis River in Duluth has experienced an unusually difficult spring, marked by multiple April Fools snowstorms. Nonetheless, the ice is now breaking up, enabling a large flock of Trumpeter swans to inhabit our waterways, albeit in hidden coves. 🦢 It seems the birds possess remarkable instincts.
Our cherished pelicans will soon return.

A retired teacher , she was taking a trip of our Great Lakes states. She was a lot of fun!
