The season finale kicked off with a thrilling 19-lap sprint race. Matt Schlosser set the tone early by converting his pole position into a dominant flag-to-flag victory, leading all 19 laps of the event. Michael McCoy kept Schlosser honest the entire time, crossing the finish line just 0.399 seconds behind in the runner-up spot. Chris Smith completed the podium in third place, while Evan Hoobchaak and Deven Jack rounded out the top five in a cleanly contested race.

The excitement escalated for the 44-lap main event. Despite starting back in 10th position, Matt Schlosser put on a masterclass, carving his way through the field and leading 26 laps to secure a spectacular double-victory on the night. The feature race featured intense multi-car battles with 5 different leaders and 6 lead changes, all while managing to stay completely caution-free. Evan Hoobchaak put together an impressive drive to claim second place, finishing just over 10 seconds behind Schlosser, while Jimmy Moore edged out Chris Smith to grab the final spot on the podium.

With the final checker flag waved, the season championship standings were officially locked in. Matt Schlosser's utterly dominant performance in the finale cemented his crown as the season champion. Chris Smith’s consistent, front-running performances across both races secured him the runner-up spot in the final standings. Ryan Campbell rounded out the season's elite top three, putting a memorable exclamation point on a highly competitive Road N' Plate season.

Round 9 of the Road N' Plate Palm Rat Golf series at Daytona delivered high-stakes drama as the championship battle reached a fever pitch. In the 17-lap sprint race, championship contender Chris Smith capitalized on his front-row start to take a commanding victory, leading 9 laps and securing a crucial 25 points. He narrowly edged out Sean Johnson by a mere 0.073 seconds in a frantic finish, while Sam Stoner completed the podium in third. Notably, points leader Matt Schlosser was completely absent from the field in this event, throwing the title chase wide open and allowing Smith to shave a massive chunk off the pre-race deficit.

The action intensified in the 32-lap Feature race, which was marked by three caution periods that disrupted the field's rhythm. Mark Royce executed a stellar drive, charging all the way from 17th on the starting grid to take the checkered flag, leading a race-high 22 laps and earning 42 points. Andrew White followed closely in second place, just 0.206 seconds behind, with Mike Thompson securing third. Meanwhile, Chris Smith managed a steady drive from his 10th-place starting position to finish 6th, adding another 30 points to his nightly haul.

With Matt Schlosser missing both races and scoring no points at Daytona, the championship landscape has been completely reset. As the series heads into the 10th and final round, the pressure shifts entirely back to Schlosser to respond, setting up a tantalizing finale at Brands Hatch for the Road N' Plate Season 9 title.

The Road N' Plate Series rolled into Talladega Superspeedway for an action-packed double-header, beginning with a chaotic 16-lap event. Driving NASCAR Trucks, 27 drivers faced off in a highly competitive race that featured seven lead changes among six different leaders, including Jonny Rapp, who led a race-high 5 laps. The 21-minute sprint was heavily disrupted by two caution periods totaling 5 laps. Ultimately, Jimmy R Moore put on a masterclass in drafting and track positioning; despite starting deep in the field at 20th, he sliced through the pack, led 4 laps, and narrowly secured the victory with a razor-thin 0.0244-second margin over runner-up Sean Johnson. Randy Gross rounded out the podium in third, while Matt Schlosser and George J Jackson filled out the top five.

The excitement continued as the field reset for a grueling 32-lap main event. This longer race proved to be a test of endurance and strategy, clocking in at just over 46 minutes. The multi-groove pack racing at Talladega was on full display as eight different drivers took turns at the front, trading the top spot a staggering 18 times. However, the increased aggression took its toll on the 26-driver field, leading to four caution periods that consumed 12 laps of the race.

When the checkered flag flew, Jonny Rapp cemented his dominance for the night by claiming the feature race victory, capitalizing on his front-row starting spot (2nd) and leading a race-high 10 laps. Robert Brobst secured an impressive second-place finish, trailing Rapp by a mere 0.0626 seconds. Christopher Smith grabbed the final podium spot in third after leading 6 laps of his own. Meanwhile, Chris Winslow staged an incredible 18-position charge from 22nd on the grid to finish fourth, and sprint race runner-up Sean Johnson capped off a highly successful event by securing fifth place.

Before the engines even fired up at Circuito de Navarra, a heavy somberness hung over the paddock following the devastating news earlier in the day that two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch had passed away at the age of 41. The news sent shockwaves through the motorsports community, prompting an immediate and deeply emotional response from the field. In a touching tribute to the legendary driver, no fewer than 12 drivers on the grid completely altered their truck appearances, running classic Kyle Busch NASCAR paint schemes to honor his unmatched legacy and incredible impact on the sport.

The Sprint Race at Circuito de Navarra was a brisk 15-lap event that saw Jimmy R Moore (running the #51 instead of his usual #12 as a tribute to Kyle Busch) claim victory from a 2nd-place starting position. Driving his NASCAR Truck Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Moore dominated the front-running pace by leading 10 laps of the race. Pole-sitter Michael C McCoy led the initial 5 laps but suffered a technical issue, ultimately finishing in 25th place despite securing the absolute fastest lap of the race with a blazing time of 1:00.641. Rounding out the podium right behind Moore were Deven Jack in 2nd and Matt Schlosser in 3rd, both executing steady drives from their respective 3rd and 4th place starting grid positions.

The subsequent action shifted to the main event. The Feature Race extended the challenge to a 34-lap test of endurance on the same circuit, featuring 4 lead changes among 4 different drivers. Dustin Bauley put on a masterclass performance; after starting from 5th on the grid in his Toyota Tundra, he took control of the field to lead a race-high 26 laps and secure 1st place. The battle behind him was tight, with Ryan Campbell charging up from 6th to take the runner-up spot, finishing less than six-tenths of a second behind Bauley. Matt Schlosser mirrored his impressive consistency from earlier in the day, climbing from 8th on the grid to once again round out the podium in 3rd place.
