Proud of these guys right here. Garrett Smith and Avery Hammock, both sophomores, have presented excellence in the classroom and in their competitive sport. They were recognized for their successful year by earning the Fleety award for Team Sport Athletes of the Year. Garrett Smith was also recognized for his commitment to his academics, his sport, and to his team by receiving the “Fleet Way” award. Help me congratulate them! 👏🏼

BOOM! What an incredible performance by Avery Hammock and Garrett Smith on Lake Norman! The first ever BASSMASTER win for our program, and 2 teams punched their ticket to the 2022 National Championship! Huge weekend for the Fleet Athletics.

BOOM! What an incredible performance by Avery Hammock and Garrett Smith on Lake Norman! The first ever BASSMASTER win for our program, and 2 teams punched their ticket to the 2022 National Championship! Huge weekend for the Fleet Athletics.

Avery Hammock and Garrett Smith of Erskine College have won the 2022 Strike King Lure Company Bassmaster College Series at Lake Norman presented by Bass Pro Shops with a two-day total of 31 pounds.

An incredible start to the Bassmaster College Series tournament on Lake Norman. Out of 211 boats, Avery Hammock and Garrett Smith are currently in 4th place with 17-15lbs, Jeremy Dellinger and Adam Seagle are in 5th place with 17-12lbs, and Jacob Butts and Mark Kershaw are in 17th with 13-5lbs.

Looking for another big day 2! Tight lines guys!

Great tournament today with the PBC group. Lake Murray produced some quality bags even through the 30+ mph winds and rain. Freshman team Matt Brault and Brycen Williamson on top for the Fleet with 16.32 pound bag and a 6.70 pounder.

Excited to have Dylan McLaughlin join us this fall. Dylan is a highly ranked angler from South Florence High School. He is intending on studying Business Management with a focus in Political Science. His goal is to go to Law School and make a successful career to enable him to chase his passion of bass fishing. We are excited for Dylan and his family for joining the Erskine family.

Tough day 1 of the MLF College Open on Lake Chickamuaga. 5 of our teams managed to survive day 1, with some quality fish, just not able to catch a limit. Seems like Chickamuaga has had it out for this team the last 3 times. But we have another chance tomorrow, and with how stingy today was across the field, there should be a lot of movement on the leaderboard. Check back in tomorrow at 2:30 ET on MLF.com!!
