The road campaign continues as your Dubuque Miners head north to Sheboygan, Wisconsin for a showdown with the Sheboygan County Sabercats this Saturday!

After a much-needed bye week, the Miners return to action looking to keep the momentum rolling and continue building on what has already been a strong 2026 campaign. The Sabercats have long been one of the Midwest’s most respected programs, making this another excellent test for the boys in scarlet and gold.

Our players and coaches have been hard at work preparing for what promises to be a hard-fought battle between two proud organizations. If you’re making the trip, be loud, be proud, and help us bring that Miners energy to Sheboygan!

During this bye week, we have some catching up to do!

It recently came to our attention that we completely forgot to announce our Week 6 Players of the Game from our matchup against the Sheboygan County Sabercats. While the final result wasn’t what we wanted, these players put forth outstanding efforts and earned recognition for their performances on the field.

The Dubuque Miners Football Organization extends our thoughts and prayers to the Illinois Cowboys family and all those across our football community mourning the loss of Darius Moffett.

Today, our league lost one of its brothers. While teams may compete on Saturdays, we are all part of the same football family, and losses like this are felt far beyond a single locker room.

We send our deepest condolences to Darius’ family, friends, teammates, coaches, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength, comfort, and peace in the memories you shared with him.

Happy Victory Monday, Miners Nation! ⚜️⚒️

With only three scheduled games remaining in the regular season, your Dubuque Miners head into the bye week sitting at 6-1 overall and 4-0 in MWUF league play.

After a hard fought road victory in Chicago, the bye week comes at the perfect time for some much needed rest, recovery, and preparation for the final push toward the postseason.

The work isn’t done yet. Three games remain, and every one of them matters as the Miners continue their pursuit of a strong finish to the 2026 campaign.

Next up, the Miners hit the road on June 20 to take on the Sheboygan County Sabercats in what is sure to be another tough test against one of the region’s premier programs.

More game day details will be released as we get closer to kickoff.
