Historic weekend for the Duhawks!
Our accomplishments include:
-3rd place for both Men's and Women's team. Highest place for the women's team since 2019!
- Anna Durak ARC Swimmer of the Meet, ARC Records and NCAA B Cuts in the 200IM, 100 back, 200 back, and 100 free. Events wins in the 200IM, 100 back, and 200 back. New individual school records in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 back, and 200 IM.
- New team record in the Women's 400 free relay of Anna Durak, Maria Eide, Kiley Smith, and Jillian Smith!
-Caden Gillmore defended title in the 200 free, 2nd place in the 500 free and new conference champion in the 200 fly.

Please join us for our annual Loras Swimming and Diving Alumni Meet on Friday October 4th!
The swim meet will officially start at 6pm but the pool will be open at 5pm for arrival and then warm up. It will be a quick meet roughly only an hour long. Feel free to enter as many or as little events as possible. Following that, Saturday October 5th we will have a tailgate spot outside of the football field that I hope everyone can stay for! We will have spot 46 from 10:30am-1pm.
A sign up sheet for events will be available upon arrival. We hope you will join us!

Fun showdown this past weekend between father and son coaches! Loras competed in a double dual against Iowa Lakes and Iowa Central. The Loras women have now improved to 5-0 on the season and the men are now 4-1! Below is a picture of coach Nick with his father Tom Wyllie, the head coach of Iowa Central.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Loras College men's and women's swimming and diving teams took down Coe College in the program's conference opener on Friday night. The men handled the Kohawks by a score of 167-21, while the women followed suit with a 113-83 win.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Two Loras College student-athletes had their talented performances from this past weekend recognized by the league office as football's Brandon Phelps and women's swim and dive's Annie Quinn earned American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Athlete of the Week honors.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College men and women's swim and dive programs continued its good start to the 2023-24 season, as each program won second-straight meet to open up the season, with the men defeating the Simpson College Storm 167-38 and the women winning 132-56.
