We adopted these mustangs last year. They are all over 4. In the beginning a kitten was a true horror much less a small child on a strider bike. Training is hard but someone has to do it!

Something new has taken shape here at Arcady Ridge Ranch.

We’ve been swinging hammers and stacking boards behind the scenes, and we’re proud to share the latest addition to the ranch: our new Fishing Tent, built for fly fishing guide and workshop instructor Amanda Plaisted.

It’s a bright and welcoming space—made with love, reclaimed wood, and a little creative grit. Our interns, Krystal, Madison, and Erin, worked tirelessly for three days to transform recycled pallets and tongue-and-groove floorboards into a one-of-a-kind teaching space. Inside, you’ll find fish facts, Amanda’s handmade aquatic habitat display, and a setup ready for storytelling, skill-building, and swapping river secrets.

Fly fishing workshops take place here at the ranch throughout the season, and guided fishing trips into the backcountry are available with Said Creek Outfitters.
