The main purpose of JKD is the STOP HIT

JKD is neither this PUNCH or that PUNCH.

But it is when to use and how to better execute the PUNCH
(The Stop Hit) , and how to better develop more power and speed in the PUNCH.

The 1st main goal in JKD while learning all of its concepts is to develop the intercepting ability of the “Stop Hit” .... this concept is our main ultimate Goal .

The Jab and The Stop Kick are 1st Tactics of the STOP HIT - to intercept when the Opponent’s attack is at its initiation stage

The 2nd tactic in JKD
is mastering The Hand and Foot Split - Your Opponent’s fist leaving it’s protective position of his face , allows you the opportunity to intercept its mission. You must possess the physical & technical capability of almost doubling its speed to intercept before it reach its goal.

The 3rd Tactic of JKD is to master the ex*****on of the primary targets because of their Stoppage value
