Daddy's Gun!! It's just an old.35 Marlin, he never harvested a deer with that gun or any other gun for that matter. Dad got me one also, some 40 years ago. I've taken a many deer with mine. I remember as a kid coming home from school on Friday during deer season and seeing that old brown and black case in which held his gun, laying on the table. Bam!!!! We're going to deer camp!!! To be honest folks I don't know if daddy ever even loaded that gun, I think he was just spending time with his son, he didn't care about killing a deer but sure loved wing shooting. A few years before dad passed away he gave myself a another family member his guns. I got his 1100 and the other member got his.35. The 35 was traded towards another gun at a local gunshop. A man at the shop immediately purchased the gun and gave me a call saying he had my daddy's gun. I offered to buy it from him but he said no, if anything ever happened to him his family knew I was to get the gun back. Well, on Friday 11/15/24 I got a call and the man offered me daddy's gun back. I got it!!! On 11/16/24. Me and daddy's gun went on a quest to harvest a deer. During my pre hunt prayer I asked the Lord to guide my feet cause my mind couldn't decide which way to go. He led me !! And to God be Glory!! I Got It Done With Daddy's Gun!!!!
