“We are the champions my friends, and we’ll keep on fighting till the end!!!” Today the girls ran the gauntlet and had to put together 5 straight wins to win the ship. And in grand fashion the girls put up 63 runs to just 13 given up to clear out the competition. The girls gave us all a few grey hairs as we walked off the championship game on an inside the park home run by Chelsea scoring two after calling her shot lol We are super proud of the girls after all the hard work they put in this season. Not to mention the Florida heat and humidity they endured through 12 games on the week. Shoutout to Ava who took home overall tournament MVP, Reagan who received tournaments best pitcher, and Khloe who won offensive tournament MVP and the team as we walked away with best sportsmanship of the whole tourney. Big thanks to all the parents, coaches and of course the girls who made it all happen. Let’s go Hit Dogs!

It was do or die in day 4 of nationals here in Florida for our girls in this double elim bracket. But “Who let the dogs out” is what Doc our friendly tournament director asked the team today after a massive 13-0 first game of the day. The girls put up 9, that’s right 9 runs with two outs in a 10 run first inning in the rout! Game two found us down early but again the girls showed grit and determination to stay alive. After not one but two inside the park home runs by Brooklynn and Chelsea we eventually shut the door on a 10-7 battle with Arkansas Prospects. Tomorrow we will look to grab 5 more wins on our run to the title! Let’s go Hit Dogs!

Another day is in the books here in Destin Florida at nationals. The girls battled in two highly competitive and close games today. Khloe was in the circle for game one in a tightly contested pitching duel ending on a walk off passed ball scoring Delilah and giving us a 4th straight win! It was Bella’s turn to take to the circle in game two as we got down early but not out as the offense heated up highlighted by an Ava home run and one of two triples by Reagan. After a few lead changes the girls showed heart and stayed diligent but unfortunately fell 9-7. Tomorrow we will continue bracket play in a rematch against the Cajun sluggers at noon. Time to start a new streak ladies! Go Hit Dogs!

With the help of some great pitching and hot bats the girls started out 2-0 (3-0 if u count the dance off😂) to begin the nationals. We look to continue the winning ways tomorrow morning against the gulf coast vipers. Let’s go hit dogs!

Nationals baby! Yesterday we attended opening ceremonies at Choctawhatchee highschool for a pin exchange, parade and dance off. Little did the coaches know but we would be the deciding factor of the competition 😂. And…..1st place!!! Let’s gooo!! The girls had a blast and we walked away with the first dub before even hitting the diamond! Today we look to start off hot with our first matchup against the Lady Dukes. Go Hit Dogs!
