That’s a wrap on the 2023 season! This was a special group of boys who played the toughest schedule in Ohio and went 63-20-1. We made a ton of memories that will last forever!
As most know this was my last season coaching which will make this the final post for Hit Dogs Ohio- Ooten. The past 5 years in travel ball have been awesome and I have met a lot of friends in those 5 years.
The past 2 years with the Hit Dogs have been great and the boys have put in a ton of work in the offseason to have the success that was shown on the field finishing with a record of 127-40-1 playing against some of the best competition we could face.

Big Thank You to all of the Parents! Without you none of this would have been possible. At the drop of a hat you guys were willing to go wherever I asked and I couldn’t be more thankful for that! Thank you for believing in our vision and allowing us to teach your boys the game that they love!
To the players I couldn’t have asked for a better group of boys. We spent countless hours this past year working to become the best team possible and go compete with the teams in the south and we did it. I look forward to watching what’s next for all you and wish you all the best of luck! I will always be watching and you can always reach out to talk!

Lastly I can’t forget my Family especially my wife Jess who has put up with me not being present even when I’m home because I’m constantly thinking about baseball 😂. Thank you for understanding how much I love this game and love teaching the boys!
