Closing the Disruption Chapter 💚

As we officially close the chapter on Disruption Fastpitch, I keep coming back to one word: gratitude.

Thank you to every player and every family who believed in what we were building — especially when it was about so much more than softball.

From the beginning, our mission was simple: Build Strong Women. To create a place where young women could compete, grow, be challenged, find confidence, learn how to lead, and know that their value would never be determined by a scoreboard.

We won games. We lost games. We celebrated big moments and worked through hard ones. We made memories, built friendships, learned lessons, and grew together.

To our players: thank you for trusting us to coach you, push you, believe in you, and be a small part of your story. Watching you grow as athletes has been incredible — but watching you grow as young women has meant even more.

To our families: thank you for the miles, the weekends, the early mornings, the late nights, the sacrifices, and most importantly, for believing in the mission.

Disruption was never just a name on the front of a jersey. It was a group of people who believed we could do youth sports a little differently — with purpose, opportunity, accountability, and heart.

The uniforms may change and the next chapter may look different, but the mission doesn’t.

Keep competing. Keep growing. Keep showing up for one another. And above all, keep building strong women.

Thank you for being part of Disruption Fastpitch. What a privilege it has been.

Girls of Summer…

Our chapter with Disruption Elite Fastpitch and this team is coming to an end (que the 😭)!

Tonight, we sent our rising seniors out with a fun practice and mixed infield/outfield. I think we have some new found respect for positions and teammates!

These smiles express everything that needs to be said, but I’ll also try to add to what we’re feeling:

Not everyone who helped build this team will wear the next jersey—but every player and coach who gave their heart to this journey will always be part of our story.

We honor where we’ve been. We carry forward what they helped build. And together, we rise.

Soon a Different Name. A New Chapter.

But for now, one last week to cherish and honor the mission: BUILD STRONG WOMEN!
