Night ✌🏻 at Tony Stewart Speedway

Kyleigh got to meet the legend himself!

This night seemed to have went a lot better than the night before. Kyleigh was a lot more comfortable in the car and we made some more adjustments to make things handle better.

-Qualified 7th fast
-started 4th in heat 1 and finished 5th after sliding over the berm at the top of the track.
-started 9th in the feature and finished 6th, earning the hard charger for the night.

We are finally starting to figure the car and driving style out and gaining as much valuable seat time as we can!

Final results from the A. Started 6th and finished 8th. We made a gearing change that we shouldn’t have made, but we learned a lot and gained some confidence!

Kyleigh enjoyed it so much that she begged to go back tonight, so we made a deal that if she gets her car cleaned and ready while dad is at work then he will take her back tonight. Stay tuned!

Also, Kyleigh learned what it’s like to drive in traffic on a wet track 😂

Let’s try this last minute thing again! Kyleigh has decided (literally 5 minutes ago) to try out a new track at Tony Stewart Speedway tonight. An added bonus is getting to see Tony Stewart himself driving a car!

Two nights of racing at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair, Tuesday June 23rd, and Wednesday June 24th.

Change of plans, again 😬

Unfortunately tonight’s race has been cancelled, so we will just have to wait until Saturday. We will be at THQMA in Terre Haute!

🌧️ RACE UPDATE 🌧️

Due to track conditions with standing water still and unable to get equipment on to work it, tonight’s All Star TQ Midgets & All Star Jr. Sprints event at the 177th Shelby County Fair has been cancelled.

Sooo today at noon we decided to go run at the Shelby County Fair tonight.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had the jr sprint out so we are excited to try out some adjustments and changes we’ve made.

The 177th Shelby County Fair is bringing the excitement to the grandstands with the All Star TQ Midgets and All Star Jr. Sprints!

THQMA Points race 4:

What a weekend!

Things are finally clicking for Tanner as he finished the day with a sweep, winning all 3 of his races!

Kyleigh ended the day with a Heat win and a feature win in jr160, and 2nd in jr Honda and jr animal!

We have this weekend off, which is the perfect time to do some extra maintenance and work on the cars.

Unfortunately the race tonight at Coles County was canceled. We will be back in action tomorrow night at THQMA in Terre haute!

Shout out to Racers Customs & Collision Repair for getting our new adjustable seat mount welded into the 600 chassis! One step closer to moving up (other than age 😅).

Coles county update:

Started 1st in the heat, and fell back to 5th. We made some more adjustments trying to dial things in before the feature.

Started 10th in the feature and made it up to 8th before the chain broke, ending the race for her.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had chain issues, so we have purchased brand new chain to run at the next race!
