Was great to see the improvement made this year by everyone, and no question, the biggest improvement overall had to be Paulie Best… probably had some of the most entertaining matches we’ve seen in a while

3rd place as a team at the RiverHawk tourny in Owego….boys wrestled tough, especially in the wrestlebacks, and it paid off…

Big bro challenged her to try wrestling, and she accepted the challenge. She learned quick and didn’t back down from anyone, not even those with an Adam’s Apple 😉
First time on the mats, first time placing at sectionals…not a bad start

Came away with 4th, with most likely at least 2 and maybe 3 probable state placers, including 2 state placers from last season in his way. Not bad for his freshman year…
Back to work in two weeks as “next season” starts February 26th 🤙🏽

Great kid who improved a great deal, took some lumps on the way but always stayed positive, always stayed hungry, another great young man headed into the big world representing his school and its wrestling program.
