If you are looking for a activity for your Brave. Bodyworks Gym is holding weight lifting for athletes of Grant County. This is not a school event. No GCMS football coaches will be there. This is a great thing BodyWorks Gym is doing for the community.

Hello Grant County Middle School Families,

I would like to take some time to introduce myself to you. My name is Tim Gibson. I also answer to Gibbs (my first group of students gave me that nickname and it has stayed with me). I was born and raised in NKY. The past 10 years I have coached and worked at Batchelor Middle School in Indiana. My coaching football experience has grown from being a volunteer, to assistant coach, to head coach of one of the teams, to head coach of both teams at Batchelor.

I have been able to increase the number of students playing football in my time at Batchelor and I have led my team to win 3 county championships in Bloomington. The thing I am most proud of during my time in Bloomington is the number of athletes that have grown up to great young adults and continued to play football into high school.

I am very grateful to GCMS for giving me this opportunity. My wife and I are excited to move closer to home. (I don’t know if my mother or my grandma are more excited to have me back in NKY). I am looking forward to being not only the head football coach for GCMS but also an educator in the building. I plan to be very active in the school and community.

I know a lot of people are wanting information about what is going on for the program and I appreciate your patience as I am still trying to fill an assistant coach position. Once I get more information I will keep you all updated. I should be able to get my school email soon and once I do I will be able to post that here for questions, comments and concerns.

I am looking forward to meeting you and coaching your student-athletes. It does not matter if your student-athlete has played football for years or has never stepped on the field before. All 7th-8th grade GCMS student-athletes are welcome to play for me.

Hello Grant County football family, friends, and community,

We are excited to announce that Grant County High School, Grant County Middle School, and our youth football affiliate, the Tomahawks, have officially come together to form the Grant County Football Board.

This board will meet regularly to strategize, plan, and help lay the groundwork for the continued growth and improvement of football in Grant County for years to come. By working together across all age levels, our goal is to build a strong, unified football program that benefits our student-athletes and community.
