Our season came to a close yesterday. Mallie gave an incredible effort, but unfortunately wasn’t able to come out with the win. Even so, she completed what we believe to be one of the most successful individual seasons in Grant County tennis history, and that is something she should be extremely proud of.

This team has worked hard all season long, continued to grow, and represented Grant County with pride every step of the way. We will officially wrap up the season at our end-of-season banquet this Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who supported our tennis program this year — from families, friends, and fans to our school and community. Your encouragement meant so much to our players and coaches. We are already excited and looking forward to next season!

🎾Mallie Bates has officially qualified for the 2026 KHSAA State Tennis Championships in Elizabethtown, KY! 🎾

Mallie will compete in the first round on Wednesday, May 20th. Her opponent has not yet been announced, but we are excited to see her represent Braves Nation on the state stage!

Although Mallie fell short of advancing to the regional championship match this evening against a very tough North Oldham opponent, her incredible run continues as she now prepares for the biggest tournament of the season.

Congratulations, Mallie! We are proud of you and can’t wait to cheer you on at State!

⚠️🚨Mallie Bates road to state continues!🚨⚠️

The 8th Region brought together the top 29 female tennis players, and your very own Mallie Bates battled her way to a huge victory tonight over South Oldham to advance to the Final Four (semifinals)!

Tomorrow, Mallie will need two more wins to claim the 8th Region Championship. No matter the outcome, her spot in the Final Four has already earned her a trip to Super Regionals in Elizabethtown, where the top players from Regions 5–8 will compete for a chance to advance to the Kentucky State Tournament.

A huge thank you to our TRIBE for showing up and supporting Mallie tonight! Your energy and encouragement mean so much.
