DSYSA is a community program since 1989 organized by volunteer board members, parents and coaches created to enable our youth to learn & enjoy the sport of cheerleading by also building confidence, learning teamwork, & commitment. DSYSA’s Cheerleading program provides the athlete with basic fundamentals of cheerleading, to get exercise, gain new life skills, and most importantly, have fun. DSYSA Cheer wants each athlete to leave the season with more confidence and a better understanding of a football game. We offer two levels of cheer, recreational & competition with a sideline experience. Recreational cheer follows our flag football & Neighborhood Sports program with a sideline experience only. Our competition cheer program will attend 2-3 competitions in the fall under the Pop Warner Little Scholars association, and will also follow a tackle football team for sideline cheer. Our DSYSA Cheer program is a completely volunteer run organization that relies on parents & adults to continue leading and improving the program, we hope you will have some patience with us as we learn and grow this year. Thank you for your consideration to be a part of our Cheer Family.
